Cranial Sacral therapy is often referred to as craniosacral therapy (CST) and it is a therapy that is non-invasive using gentle pressure on the head, neck and sacrum.
This type of bodywork releases and relieves compression within the bones in the skull and back. CST may help to restore cranial mobility, easing restrictions within the nerves, head and neck.
CST works with deep fascia and although you are targeting an area the whole body will be effected via the fascial network.
This therapy’s principle is the connection between the cranial bones, the vertebrae and the sacrum which are linked by an intrinsic rhythm.
